Children who attend traditional schools that operate on a 9-month schedule more than likely are itching for that last day when the bell rings and they are released into a piping hot world of freedom.
Maybe the school system is to credit for the significance of summer in the first place.
My summers as a child were always bittersweet.
I had some of the best and worst experiences.
All of them shaped my life and my perception of summer resultantly.
I now believe that we, as impressionable and spiritual beings, carry with us the essence of the seasons.
We use each one of our senses to identify with them.
